Grab Your Wallet as Minnesota Twins Announce 2025 TV Options
This weekend is Twins Fest at Target Field, and baseball fever starts to simmer as fans flock to the stadium to meet players and coaches.
Unfortunately for Minnesota Twins fans last season, most of the games were unavailable on TV, as Comcast and FanDuel Sports North (formerly Bally Sports North) failed to come to an agreement following Bally's bankruptcy filing and Diamond Sports Group.

The MLB app didn't help last season either, as it blacks out broadcasts of local teams in their own markets.
The TV situation wasn't great for the team either, as they lost major dollars in television revenue, which is a big money-maker for Major League Baseball teams.

For Sale: Minnesota Twins?
Complicating the situation is the fact that the Minnesota Twins are currently up for sale. Twins President Dave St. Peter says the team has had multiple buyers show interest, and that it’s an ongoing process. Adding that there's no timeline for when there could be a done deal.
In 2024, the Minnesota Twins had a rough end to the season, finishing with a 82-80 record, ending up in the fourth spot in the American League Central ahead of only the 41-121 Chicago White Sox.

So What's the TV Plan for 2025?
MLB will produce and distribute local games for the Minnesota Twins (and Cleveland Guardians & Milwaukee Brewers) for the 2025 season. The new arrangement will give fans more options to watch their favorite teams on television or to stream digitally.
Noah Garden, MLB Deputy Commissioner says,
With the media landscape continuing to evolve, Major League Baseball is committed to serving our fans by ensuring they can see their favorite Clubs, removing blackouts where we can, and ultimately growing the reach of our games.
Twins.TV, produced by the league, will offer fans to stream games without blackouts on a variety of devices using the MLB.TV app. A full season subscription will run $99.99, or a monthly pass for $19.99. Twins season-ticket holders can get the full season for 50 percent off.

Can I Still Watch on Cable or Satellite?
Yes. Twins.TV will be available on similar satellite and cable providers in which Twins baseball has been carried in the past. Specific providers and channels will be announced later this offseason.
