Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope all is well on this day we can pause and be mindful of all there is to be thankful for - good health, friends and family, jobs or meaningful retirement, half-decent weather, a pause before the Christmas/holiday rush and a country that may be divided and at times perhaps a little bit crazy but still a pretty damn good place to call home and a beacon of light to so many around the world.

I drove around town a little this morning and shot some pics that will hopefully remind all of us that there really are many things to be thankful for:

About 100 or so turned out for the Thanksgiving Day Mass at St John's Church.

A sad thing to see on ANY day.  I'm guessing he was headed to the Salvation Army dinner.
