Hawks’ Toews too Much for Wild
(St. Paul, MN) - Chicago captain Jonathan Toews scored a hat trick and put up five points as the Blackhawks handed the Minnesota Wild a 5-3 loss on Tuesday night in St. Paul.
Mikael Granlund had a pair of goals in the loss, both on the power play, as the Wild lost to the Hawks in the regular season for the first time since January of 2015 stopping a nine-game point streak.
The Wild will now pause their season for their bye week and return to action next Monday when they host Los Angeles.
