Head On Crash Injures Three In Winona County

Three people were injured, one seriously in a head-on crash in Winona County Saturday night.  

According to the State Patrol report, 16 year old Brettney Starks of Altura was seriously injured when a car driven by 40 year old Lois Escho of Lewiston crossed the center line on Highway 14 east of Lewiston.  Alcohol was detected in her system.  Starks was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.  Escho and a 46 year old male passenger in her car suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to the Mayo Clinic Health System site in Winona.
