Lauren Bedard was involved in a horrific crash on New Year's Day in Mabel.

Bedard is still in the hospital recovering from the injuries in the crash, and the page Love & Support For Lauren Bedard offered an update on Sunday. Below is a portion of the update:

"Lauren has made great progress since she got here but she still has a long road of recovery to being independent again. Lauren has a long list of goals that she must complete each day in therapy and they strongly encourage her to stick to it even when she gets tired. Mayo Clinic has been wonderful. They have this amazing new facility that treats all the aspects of the brain, physical, and psychological injuries. Currently, they are working with her to get her strength, memory, attention, and regular lifestyle skills back"

You can read more on the update and follow her progress here.
