
Mayo One Helicopter Responds to Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy. 247 Near Plainview
Elgin, MN (KROC-AM News)- Mayo One helicopter was dispatched to a crash in Wabasha County on Monday.

Preliminary information released by the State Patrol indicates two vehicles were involved in the incident. The collision happened around 2:10 p.m.

SUVs Collide at Intersection of Hwy. 247 and County Rd. 2 West of Plainview, Mayo One Helicopter Responds
A Subaru SUV and Ford SUV collided at the intersection of Hwy. 247 and County Rd. 2 about four miles west of Plainview.
The Subaru was heading south on County Rd. 2 and the Ford was westbound on Hwy. 247 when the vehicles collided in the intersection, the state crash report says.
A 78-year-old Pepin woman was driving the Subaru. A 72-year-old Pepin woman was riding with her, the State Patrol says.
The Ford was driven by an 89-year-old Goodhue man. He had an 88-year-old Goodhue woman riding with him, according to the State Patrol.

The state crash report does not include the names and conditions of the vehicle occupants. More information is scheduled to be released on Tuesday afternoon.
The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, the Plainview Police Department and Elgin Fire and Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle collision.
