
Alcohol Use Suspected in Young Man’s Olmsted County Injury Crash
Pine Island, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage man was taken to the hospital following a crash in Olmsted County.

Authorities suspect alcohol was involved.The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 11:00 Thursday night.
One vehicle was involved in the Hwy. 52 crash and its driver was the only occupant.

Young Northfield, MN Man Hospitalized After Hwy. 52 Crash Near Oronoco, Alcohol Use Suspected
The single-vehicle crash occurred on Hwy. 52 about three miles north of the Oronoco exit. A car that was traveling south had collided with the guardrail, the state crash report says.
19-year-old Urban Zimmerman Beckman was identified as the driver.
The State Patrol says the young Northfield man was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for care of non-life-threatening injuries.
Beckman was wearing his seatbelt and he was suspected of driving after consuming alcohol, the state crash report indicates.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the single-vehicle crash.
