Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a homeless man accused of threatening a woman with a gun.

Captain Tim Parkin says the assault case also involves a stolen pick-up truck. The suspect has multiple active arrest warrants, authorities say.
The alleged assault occurred in the reportedly stolen pick-up truck.

Homeless Man With 7 Arrest Warrants Wanted for Rural Rochester Gun Threat In Stolen Vehicle
Parkin said deputies responded to the assault call around 8:00 Wednesday morning in the 6700 block of 54th Street Southeast in Marion Township.
The victim said a man identified as 43-year-old Daniel Hill threatened her with a handgun while the two were inside of a pick-up truck.
She told deputies Hill tried to run her over after she escaped from the truck, Parkin said.
Law enforcement found the truck Hill was driving in the area of the alleged assault and learned it had been stolen out of Chatfield, according to the sheriff’s office report. Parkin said attempts to find Hill were not successful.
Hill is described as a white male adult, approximately 5’11 weighing 190 pounds and has brown hair.
Olmsted County warrant records indicate Hill has seven active arrest warrants. Court records indicate Hill has a criminal record that dates back to 2018 and includes felony convictions for theft and receiving stolen property.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is recommending Hill be charged with felony second-degree assault, threats of violence and possession of stolen property.
