Honkers Hire New Field Manager For 2015

The Rochester Honkers Northwoods League baseball club announced they've hired a new field manager for the 2015 season.  

He is Trevor Hairgrove, an undergraduate assistant coach from the University of California Riverside.  He becomes the 15th Field Manager since the team's inaugural season in 1994.

Hairgrove played his entire collegiate career at UC Riverside where he was the team's starting shortstop all 4 years before being drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 18th round in 2011.  He spent the next 3 years working his way from Rookie Ball to the Angels AA Affiliate, Arkansas Travelers, before returning to UC Riverside to coach.

Hairgrove is the second UC Riverside coach to lead the Honkers, following in the Championship footsteps of Rusty McNamara from 2009.
