Brownsdale, MN (KROC-AM News)- A fire resulted in significant damage to a southeast Minnesota home.

That’s according to a news release issued by the Mower County Sheriff’s Office which says deputies and Mayo Clinic Ambulance responded to the blaze around 1:15 Sunday afternoon.

Home in Brownsdale Significantly Damaged in Fire Sunday Afternoon

The house fire broke out in the 200 block of South Mill St. in Brownsdale. Hayfield Fire also responded to aid in the fire fight. 

No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, the news release says. 

Fire Under Investigation

The home suffered what authorities describe as extensive damage to the roof and the second floor. A damage estimate is not yet available. 

The cause of the house fire is under investigation.
