The fall weather has been a rollercoaster of temperatures, but winter weather is on the way. We are in full-on hoodie and flannel mode, but soon, we will be covering those up with an extra layer.
Now is the time to go through your closets and totes of winter gear. Have your kids try them on to see if they still fit too. If you are ready to pass off your gently used winter outerwear, there is a place that is ready to take those off your hands.

Rochester Salvation Army Looking For New Or Gently Used Coats and Winter Outerwear
Wherever there is a need in our community, The Salvation Army in Rochester, Minnesota is here to help. As the trees start to show signs that fall has arrived, the Salvation Army gears up to help our community members stay warm during the cold, Minnesota winters.
Just the other day, The Salvation Army posted the following request for help on their Facebook page:
Our More than a Coat distribution is coming soon! We need help collecting coats to distribute. If you have new or gently used coats and winter outerwear, please bring them to our Corps Community Center (20 1st Ave NE) by Friday, October 10.

Where To Drop Off Winter Outwear Items For Those In Need in Rochester, MN
