Hwy. 14 Crash With Semi Sends Owatonna Man to Rochester Hospital
Janesville, MN (KROC-AM News)- Three people were injured following a crash involving a van and semi at a Hwy. 14 intersection in southern Minnesota.
The State Patrol responded to the collision shortly after noon on Monday. It happened in Waseca County.
The state crash report indicates a semi traveling south on County Rd. 33 and an eastbound van on Hwy. 14 collided in the intersection, which is about eight miles west of Waseca.
The truck driver, identified as 24-year-old Joseph Daniel Finken of Minnesota Lake was taken to a Mankato Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
37-year-old Jeremy Raymond Max Alsdorf of North Mankato was driving the van. He and his passenger, identified as 58-year-old Stan Robert Mccarty of Owatonna also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Alsdorf was also brought to a Mankato Hospital with Mccarty was taken to Rochester for further care. It’s unknown if Alsdorf was buckled up.
The report says alcohol was not involved in the crash.
