Vernon Center, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcycle crash in southern Minnesota has left a young man fighting for his life.

The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 12:45 Saturday afternoon. The motorcycle, occupied by only its operator, was the only vehicle involved.

22-Year-Old Vernon Center Man Suffers Critical Injuries in Southern Minnesota Motorcycle Crash
The crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 169 and 145th St. near Vernon Center, which is about 28 miles southwest of Mankato.
22-year-old Alexander Michael Sullivan of Vernon Center was identified as the motorcycle driver, according to the State Patrol.
The state crash report says the motorcycle was heading north on the two-lane highway when Sullivan lost control of it and was ejected.
Sullivan was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol indicates.
