Dexter, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have closed a portion of westbound Interstate 90 in southeast Minnesota due to a crash.

The closure spans for 12 miles from the Olmsted County Rd. 6 interchange west of Stewartville to the Hwy. 16 interchange in Dexter.
Westbound I-90 traffic is being diverted off the interstate via Hwy. 63 in Stewartville then routed south to westbound Hwy. 16.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation anticipates the closure to end around 11:00 Wednesday night. Details regarding the crash are not available.
