
Crash Involving Semis Closes Westbound I-90 in Winona County
St. Charles, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash has prompted another closure of a stretch of Interstate 90 in southeast Minnesota Friday morning.

It’s the second crash this morning that caused emergency responders to shut down the interstate.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) indicates the latest closure started around 8:40 a.m.

Westbound I-90 Closed Between Lewiston and St. Charles Due to Crash
I-90 westbound is closed between the Lewiston and St. Charles interchanges.
State Patrol Sgt. Troy Christianson indicates two semis are involved in the crash. He says minor injuries have been reported.
Westbound I-90 traffic is being exited off the interstate in Lewiston and rerouted via Hwy. 14 to St. Charles.
Westbound I-90 motorists can rejoin the interstate in St. Charles.
The prior crash caused the interstate to shut down between the Dover and Eyota interchanges.

MnDOT indicates the closure went into effect shortly before 8 a.m. and ended less than an hour later.
Information about that crash is also not available as of Friday morning.
