Ichiddo Ramen is Coming to Rochester, Minnesota… Again!

Let's go back to March of 2022. My husband and I had just hit up a ramen restaurant in the Twin Cities. It was delicious, and my husband made a comment that they should come to Rochester, Minnesota. I agreed!

For some reason, I looked at their website, and to our surprise, they had been thinking the same thing because their website said a Rochester location was 'coming soon'.

Fast forward to October of 2023 and we had heard nothing about them opening. Finally, I checked their website again to see if they had picked a location at least but there was no Rochester location to be found anymore.

Something clearly happened in that year and a half. But now, almost a year after that heartbreak, the same ramen restaurant is planning on coming to Rochester again! Fingers crossed it works out this time!

Ichiddo Ramen is Coming to Rochester, MN

The ramen restaurant is called Ichiddo Ramen and I was super excited to see on their website that they, once again, are 'coming soon' to Rochester.

They have locations in New York, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, and Florida. However, a majority of their locations are in Minnesota.

It's odd, though, when you go to 'Locations' on their website, there's no mention of a Rochester location coming soon, but on their main page, if you scroll down a bit, you'll see that they do, in fact, plan to open a Rochester location.

I do wonder if it's because they don't have an official location for their Rochester restaurant yet, so they aren't putting it on their 'Locations' tab.

I reached out to Ichiddo to see if they could provide me with some more information like an opening date or location, but I have yet to hear back. If I do, I'll make sure to update you here! I have seen rumblings, though, that they might be opening in Barlow Plaza, across Civic Center Dr. from Walgreens.
