Iowa Man Wanted in Murder Case Arrested in SE Minnesota (Update)
Update 3/25 9:40 a.m.: The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man wanted in connection to an Iowa murder.
A statement issued by the sheriff's office Saturday morning indicates the subject, wanted for aiding and abetting first-degree murder, was seen walking along Hwy. 52 in the Preston area shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday. Several witness reported seeing him walk into a residential garage north of Preston.
Members of the Preston Police Department and Fillmore County Sheriff's Office located 27-year-old Darwin Green inside of the garage. He was taken into custody without further incident.
Officials say Green was booked into the Fillmore County Jail on local charges as well as the on the arrest warrant out of Iowa. Green was wanted in connection to a murder reported in Fort Dodge, IA last Christmas.

The agency is asking residents in the City of Fountain and surrounding area to keep their doors locked and vehicles secure. The Fort Dodge, IA man has an active arrest warrant for aiding and abetting first-degree murder.
The Fort Dodge Police Department identifies the subject as 27-year-old Darwin Green. The Webster County Attorney’s Office filed the charge against Green on Wednesday as the result of a homicide investigation stemming from a murder reported in Fort Dodge last Christmas.
Green is described as a six-foot tall black man with dreadlocks and weighing 199 pounds. The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who sees suspicious activity to call 911.
Webster County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to Green's arrest.
