Iowa Toddler Dies After Fall From Window

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — A 3-year-old Cedar Falls boy has died after falling out a second-story window at home.

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, said Monday that Carter McOmber had died.

The boy fell Saturday morning after leaning against a window screen in an upstairs bedroom. Cedar Falls police say Carter fell about 20 feet to the ground.

Police Capt. Craig Berte says the fall was an accident and that no charges will be filed.
