Is Warmer Weather Headed Our Way?
It appears Minnesota and other areas of the country are about to come out of the deep freeze.
The National Weather Service's new 6-10 day outlook indicates significantly warmer weather is headed our way. Bitter cold is still forecast through Tuesday, but the high on Wednesday should reach 20-degrees and the mercury is predicted to reach 30-degrees in the Rochester area by the end of the week.
Over the next 10 days, the National Weather Service is indicating there is a better than 70-percent change the temperature will be 15 to 20 degrees above normal in southern Minnesota.
That suggests highs in the mid to upper 30's could be a possibility, but seeing as it is January in Minnesota, it's best that you don't count your chickens before they hatch.
