Mother Nature is giving us a taste of summer this week with lots of bright sunshine and high temps expected to be around 80 today, Wednesday, and Friday. Thursday will be cooler with a high in the low 70s and a chance of rain. Temps will cool off starting this weekend with highs next week expected to be in the upper 50s/lower 60s. This might be the last week we hit a high of 80 this year, and this winter could be a rough one. The National Weather Service has issued a La Niña advisory and explains, " La Niña’s altered atmospheric circulation over the Pacific Ocean affects global weather and climate. Generally, La Niña winters in the southern tier of the US tend to be warmer and drier, while the northern tier and Canada tend to be colder."
