Adults-Only Wine Trick-or-Treat Trail Coming to Minnesota Vineyard This Halloween
Minnesota has no shortage of ways to get into the Halloween spirit.
You can spend an evening exploring one of the state's scariest haunted houses or hayrides, check out some supposedly haunted places with stories that will give you chills, or make a trip to Anoka, the Halloween Capital of the World. There's even the clothing-optional Freak Fest at Two Creeks Campground for those who prefer their Halloween celebrations a little more...well, freaky

But if you'd rather trade the haunted houses and spooky scares for a little grown-up fun, Vintage Escapes Winery & Vineyard, located just northwest of Faribault, is putting an adult spin on trick-or-treating this October, and it sounds like a pretty fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Adults-Only HalloWINE Trick-or-Treat Trail on Sunday, October 25.
The idea is pretty simple. Basically, it's trick-or-treating for grown-ups, except you're collecting wine samples instead of a pillowcase full of candy.
Put on a costume, grab some comfortable walking shoes, and head out along the winery's walking trail with six wine tasting stations, each featuring a selected wine paired with a piece of candy. Tickets also include a Vintage Escapes tasting glass to take home.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Advance tickets are non-refundable and must be purchased by 9 p.m. Wednesday, October 21.
One important thing to keep in mind: this isn't exactly a stroll through a paved parking lot. The trail has some uneven and hilly terrain, so leave the fancy Halloween shoes at home and wear a good pair of walking or hiking shoes.

You must be at least 21 to participate in the wine tastings, and everyone purchasing a ticket will need to show a valid ID. Younger guests are welcome to dress up and walk the trail for free, but they won't be participating in the wine tastings.
Even if walking around a vineyard in costume isn't your thing, Vintage Escapes will still be open to the public on October 25. You don't need a ticket to stop in and enjoy the winery.
