
One Of Southeast Minnesota’s Favorite Summer Festivals Returns To Kasson
One town in Southeast Minnesota is bringing the fun for everyone this summer at Kasson's Festival in the Park on August 7th - 9th, 2026.
This annual celebration is one you won't want to miss - it is three days of family-friendly entertainment, fireworks, a parade, craft show, and dozens of activities. Here's a rundown of what you can expect this year at Kasson's Festival in the Park.

Friday Night Kicks Off With Food, Family Fun and a Movie
The fun kicks off on Friday at 5:00 pm with food vendors and the following activities for families:
- Kiddie Train rides
- Face painting
- Inflatable attractions
- Bingo
- Kids dance party
The night wraps up with an outdoor movie of "Heaven Is For Real" starting at 9:00 pm.
Saturday Is Packed From Morning Until Fireworks
The biggest day of the festival in Kasson, Minnesota is Saturday. When you show up, you can enjoy all of the following:
- 5k Run
- Kids Run
- Treasure Hunts
- Corn Hole Tournament
- Pedal Pull
- Antique Car, UTV and Tractor Show
- Kids Inflatables
- Face Painting
- Rookie the Clown

- Live DJ Entertainment

This full day of fun ends with a few epic shows - the Kasson Ambassador Ceremony is the opener for live music with Brad Boice & The Big Wave.
The second show of the night is up in the sky - fireworks, which start at 9:30 pm.

Sunday's Grand Parade Wraps Up The Weekend
The last day of the weekend, August 9th, starts with a community church service. And then, get ready for one of the favorite small-town traditions - the Grand Parade at 1:30 pm.
Get ready to wave and get a bunch of candy at the Grand Parade in Kasson. The parade will be starting at the park by the Aquatic Center. Find the parade route here.
