Sierra to Open Doors in Rochester, Minnesota This Fall—Here’s the Date

A space that has been empty in Rochester, Minnesota, since June 2020 will finally have life again!  Sierra is bringing a brand-new store to the old Chuck E. Cheese location, and an official opening date has been announced.

Just a few weeks ago, we heard that the At Home location in Rochester had officially closed its doors for good.  My mind immediately went to this massive space that was now sitting empty.  And then I had hope for our town.  We've had another space sitting empty for quite some time, the old Chuck E. Cheese spot, and now, it has new life again.

Those who love TJMaxx, Marshall's and Home Goods are going to immediately be fans of the brand-new store opening soon in the Med City.  Back in April, we heard the news that permits were filed for a Sierra store, which is another branch of the TJMaxx companies.  Today, we know when the doors are opening!

Instead of hearing arcade sounds and smelling slices of pizza, this old Chuck E. Cheese location is providing you with "everything you need to explore the outside".

According to the Sierra website, the grand opening for the new Rochester store is happening on Saturday, September 27th, 2025.
