Fright at the Farm is an iconic haunted attraction near Rochester in Zumbrota that people love to go to during spooky season. In case you don't know, it's part of the hemp farm and maze that's right off of 52. They also say that they're the only haunted cannabis maze in the US and one of the largest haunted attractions in Minnesota.

Fright at the Farm isn't entirely inside the maze, though. If you drive by you can see a ton of props set up around the property ready for a good scare.

Fright at the Farm Near Rochester, MN: Two Experiences

Did you know that Fright at the Farm has two different experiences of the haunt?

One of them is called the Theatrical Haunted Attraction. This runs every Friday and Saturday night in October from 7 - 10 PM. If you have kids 10 or older who want to check out something haunted, this would be the one to do.

There are special effects, projectors, lighting, animatronics, and set lighting is on during the Theatrical portion. And new this year, glow sticks are available to petrify the monsters in the haunt. If you shine the light from the glow stick at them, it will make them freeze and you don't need to worry about them continuing to scare you.

The other haunted experience is the REALLY spooky one, and that's The Blackout.

This is also every Friday and Saturday in October, 10 - 11 PM. The lights all go out and your group gets one LED candle to go through the haunt. Yeah, I think I'd poop my pants. I love good spooks and Halloween and everything, but this I may appreciate from afar.
