Jury Convicts Rochester Man Of Sexually Abusing Young Girl

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An Olmsted County jury has convicted a Rochester man who was charged with sexually abusing a young girl.
The jury convicted 51-year-old Wayne Bothun of single counts of 1st and 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to the criminal complaint, the abuse occurred multiple times from late 2017 to February 2018. The girl - who was under the age of 13 at the time - told a police investigator some of the abuse took place while the two were taking baths together.
Bothun is now facing a possible prison sentence. He is scheduled to be sentenced in October.
