Kayaker Missing in St. Croix River
Taylor Falls, MN (KROC-AM News) - The search for missing man in the St. Croix River continued to today.
The Chisago County Sheriff’s Department says 49-year-old Vue Her was last seen kayaking on the river on Wednesday, and that evening deputies responded to a report of a kayak along the shore of the St. Croix. Officials say the keys to a vehicle were found inside a tackle box in the kayak, and the vehicle was later located at Interstate Park near Taylor Falls.
The ongoing search involves personnel from Chisago and Washington Counties, fire departments from communities in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, along with a State Patrol helicopter.
