Kubel Returning to the Twins

The Minnesota Twins have announced that Jason Kubel has signed a minor league contract with the team that includes an invitation to the major league spring training camp. Kubel played 7 seasons with the team before he signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011.  Arizona then traded him to Cleveland this past August.  The 31-year-old outfielder struggled at the plate this past season with a .216 batting average and only 5 home-runs, 9 doubles, and 32 RBI.
