Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Lourdes High School girl’s tennis team will return to Rochester with the second place trophy this year. The Eagles lost to Blake 6-1 this afternoon in the Class A title match at the 2016 Girl’s State High School Tennis Tournament.

Lourdes advanced to the championship round by defeating Virginia 4-3 in the semi-finals, while Blake beat Foley to advance this morning. The Eagles opened the tournament Tuesday with a 6-1 win over Minnewaska Area in the quarterfinals.
