Lourdes H.S. Names New Girl’s Hoops Coach

Lourdes High School has named a successor to the Catholic School’s long-time girl’s basketball coach.

Aaron Berg has been hired to replace Myron Glass, who was head coach of the Lourdes girl’s hoops squad for over 30-years.

Berg was the head girl’s basketball coach at Century High School from 2004 to 2010, and for the past four years he has been working with the Rochester Catholic School system’s youth traveling teams. He is only the third coach in the history of the Lourdes Girls’ Basketball program.

During his coaching tenure at Century, Berg led the Panthers to the Big 9 Championship in 2007, when he was named the Big 9 Coach of the Year. He was also named the Section One Class 4A Coach of the Year in 2009.
