Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office arrested a teenager who was busted with a machine gun.

That’s according to Captain Tim Parkin, who said the arrest stemmed from a narcotics investigation.

Law enforcement took the teenage man into custody on Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office says Ogak was caught with a handgun that was equipped with a switch device, which is an attachment that allows a firearm to operate as a fully automatic gun. 

Deputies found the gun as part of the narcotics investigation, Parkin said. He did not say where the arrest took place. 

Olmsted County Adult Detention Center records indicate Ogak was booked into jail shortly after 3:45 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of felony Own/Possess/Operate Machine Gun/Trigger Activator/Conversion Kit

Ogak’s first court appearance has not yet been scheduled. Details regarding the narcotics investigation are not available.
