
Major Lottery Jackpot Up for Grabs in Minnesota Saturday
Undated (KROC-AM News)- A major lottery prize is up for grabs in Minnesota and across the country Saturday.

The Powerball has gone without a jackpot winner for 30 straight drawings. The last Jackpot winner was $1.08 billion and it was sold to a player in California for the July 19 drawing.
The jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball has swelled to $960 million. The cash prize Saturday is estimated at $441.4 million.
Despite not having a jackpot winner, Wednesday’s drawing produced more than 1.8 million tickets, according to a news release from the Powerball. The game paid out $300,000 in winnings for Powerball players in Minnesota for Wednesday’s drawing, the Minnesota Lottery says.
The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.9. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Powerball’s website.
Saturday’s drawing is set for 9:59 p.m. Central Time on Saturday. Tickets are $2 and are available at licensed Minnesota Lottery retailers.
