Fridley, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in the Twin Cities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in a Cub Foods parking lot Thursday morning.

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says several law enforcement agencies responded to the Cub in Fridley on the report of someone being shot in the grocery store’s parking lot. 

The shooting was reported shortly after 11 a.m. Responding law officers found an adult male that had been shot Bystanders and first responders administered life-saving measures and the victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, according to a news release from the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

No arrests have been announced. Officials say no other information is publicly available. 

The Fridley Police Department, Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the deadly shooting.
