Man Killed in Crash at Rural Intersection Near Brainerd
Brainerd, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in north-central Minnesota responded to a fatal traffic crash late Sunday afternoon.
A news release issued today by the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office indicates the single-vehicle crash was reported around 4:30 PM at a rural intersection about 5 miles southeast of Brainerd. The Sheriff's Office says a 60-year-old man was driving a pickup truck that went off the roadway.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The news release says the crash remains under investigation. The Minnesota State Patrol, Garrison Fire Department, Lakes Area Rescue, and North Memorial Ambulance all assisted at the site of the crash.
