Man Pleads Guilty to Sex Abuse at Rochester YMCA
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A sentencing hearing has been scheduled in early April for a Rochester man who was charged last April with sexually abusing a young girl at the Rochester YMCA.
63-year-old Timothy Peffley today entered a guilty plea to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct charge in Olmsted County court. He was accused of having sexual contact with the child in the swimming pool at the local YMCA facility. The girl told investigators Peffley placed her on his lap and held her in place while bouncing her, saying they were playing "bucking bronco." The girl also told police that Peffley told her it "really felt good."
He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 3rd.
