Man Shot in Red Wing

Red Wing, MN (KROC AM News) – Police in Red Wing are investigating a shooting.

Officers were sent to the 700 block of Plum St around 6:30 PM Tuesday and found a male gunshot victim. He was given CPR and taken to the Mayo Clinic hospital in Red Wing. The victim was later transferred to St Marys Hospital in Rochester. As of early Wednesday, his medical condition was unknown.

Witnesses told police they heard one to four gunshots and then saw a man running from the scene of the shooting.
