Mayo beats JM to advance in section baseball

The Mayo Spartans defeated John Marshall 5 - 1 in their section playoff game today.  Mayo advances in the winners' bracket to face #12 Lakeville South Saturday.  Mayo entered the tournament as the #3 seed.  JM was #2.  Lakeville - which beat #1 Owatonna on Saturday - blanked Faribault today 2- 0.
