Minneapolis Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested in Rochester

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A man arrested in Rochester this morning has been identified as a suspect in an attempted murder investigation in Minneapolis.
Police Captain Casey Moilanen says the Rochester Police/Olmsted County Emergency Response Unit assisted Minneapolis police in the apprehension of 33-year-old Sidney Rawls. The arrest occurred at a residence located at 1236 5th Avenue Southeast.
Captain Moilanen says or Rawls was named in a warrant charging him with attempted murder for his alleged involvement in the shooting of his girlfriend several weeks ago.
