Minnesota Mini-Golf Place Now One of the Absolute Best in America
Whether it’s a date night, a family tradition, or a heated battle for bragging rights, mini golf is always a good time in Minnesota! There’s just something about dodging windmills, tackling tricky ramps, and mastering the loop-de-loop that never gets old.
From scenic outdoor courses to the over-the-top themes, there’s a perfect spot for every kind of mini-golf fan. And now, one Minnesota course is getting some serious national attention! Experts say this isn’t just mini golf - it’s an experience, and it just earned a spot among the absolute best in the entire country!
Only one course ranked higher than Minnesota’s and that was Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
USA Today says Sky Pirates is a themed mini-golf spot that offers two unique adventures - an outdoor pirate quest in the clouds and an indoor mermaid journey through coral reefs and giant sharks.
Minnesota Mini-Golf Place Now One of the Absolute Best in America:
Back in February, USA Today set out to find the best mini golf courses. Their experts narrowed it down to 20 top spots, but the final rankings were all up to the voters.
At the time, only one Minnesota course made the cut and after the votes were counted, it snagged an impressive second-place finish in the entire country!

This award-winning 18-hole course comes straight out of the imaginations of its players — artistic guests have submitted creative ideas like Hole 7's Blue Toad, which has a long tongue-ramp, and Hole 10's Hot Tub Time Machine featuring a polka dot mastodon named Pinky. The grand finale, the Golden Throne, challenges guests to hit their ball into a gold, gleaming toilet. - USA Today
