Pine Creek, MN (KROC AM News) - A Mahtomedi man and two juveniles were hurt after the vehicle they were in struck a bear in northeast Minnesota Sunday. Not a deer - a bear.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened around 8:00 PM on I-35 in the town of Rock Creek. The vehicle veered into the median cable barrier after hitting the bear.

The vehicle was driven by 42-year-old Huihong Lim. The passengers were identified as 16-year-old Josiah Lim and 12-year-old Micha Lim. The three were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

No word on the fate of the bear.
