Minnesota Motorist Killed & Another Critically Hurt in Crash
Isanti, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person was killed and another severely injured in a collision yesterday in east-central Minnesota.
The State Patrol says the deadly incident was reported just before 11:45 AM in Isanti County. The crash report indicates a pickup truck was traveling north on Highway 65 when it collided with a second pickup truck at an intersection south of Isanti.
The State Patrol says the driver of the northbound pickup truck, 63-year-old Mark Dauer of Athens, was airlifted to a hospital in Cambridge where he died from his injuries.
The second driver, 62-year-old Theresa Meyer of Athens, was also transported to the Cambridge hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries.
The State Patrol says both drivers were wearing seatbelts and alcohol was not involved in the crash.
