Minnesota State Fair Announces 2nd Act for 2026 Grandstand

I feel like the Minnesota State Fair is getting the hype going early this year for the fair! They announced the first Grandstand act for 2026 nearly a month ago, and now we're already on to Grandstand announcement number 2.

Weird Al Announced for the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand 2026

The first act announced was the iconic Weird Al. He'll be hitting the Grandstand stage on Friday, August 28th, 2026.

Am I a Weird Al fan? Yes. Did I already buy tickets to his show? Also yes. I'm really excited!

Rod Stewart Announced for the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand 2026

Now we have the second show announced for next year's Grandstand lineup. The music legend Rod Stewart will be coming!

Rod Stewart will be joined by special guest Richard Marx for a show on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday, December 12th at 10 AM, if you're interested. Tickets are a bit more on the expensive side for what I typically see for a Grandstand show. They range from $86 up to $185 per ticket.

I'm excited to see who else will be added to the Grandstand lineup for 2026. I feel like we're off to a strong start, although I might be biased being a Weird Al fan.

I'm also super pumped for the new foods to be announced. I know that won't be until June or July or something, but I look forward to it every year! And you know I'll let you know when the list is out.
