
Minnesota Teen Killed in Dirt Bike vs Pickup Crash Identified
Blaine, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in the Twin Cities have released the name of the teenager who was killed last weekend while riding a dirt bike.
Artem Sandulyak was 15 years old. The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the Blaine teenager was driving the dirt bike on a street near Centennial High School in Blaine when he collided with a pickup as the larger vehicle was making a left turn. The fatal collision was reported around 6 PM on Sunday.
The Sheriff's Office reported that first responders administered lifesaving measures at the scene, but Sandulyak died from his injuries.
The driver of the pickup has been identified as 50-year-old Dennis Malmstedt of Circle Pines. He had a female juvenile passenger with him in the vehicle. They were not hurt.

Anoka County officials say the deadly incident remains under investigation by the agency, along with the Blaine Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office.
