Roseville, MN (KROC AM News)  -  A Twin Cities teenager was killed in a fiery traffic crash Tuesday.

The wreck happened around 2:00 am on Highway 36 in Roseville. The State Patrol says a car driven by the 19-year-old male from Woodbury left the roadway, struck a guardrail and rolled onto its side. According to the accident report, “The vehicle was heavily damaged and fully engulfed in flames when responders arrived on scene.” The victim’s name hasn’t been released.

A three-vehicle crash Monday afternoon northwest of the Twin Cities claimed the life of one of the drivers. The crash occurred around 3:30 pm on Highway 55 in Buffalo.

The State Patrol says a car driven by 18-year-old Alex Olson of Buffalo rear-ended another car that had stopped to make a turn, pushing it into the opposite lane where it collided with the third vehicle. The driver of the car that was rear-ended suffered fatal injuries. He was identified as 61-year-old Doug Long of Buffalo. The third driver involved in the wreck was identified as 86-year-old Alex Pachan of Maple Lake. He and his wife Judith suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as did Olson.
