Minnesota Teenager Killed in Hit and Run

ANDOVER, Minn. (AP) — A 17-year-old boy has died after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Andover.

Anoka County Sheriff's officials say the teen from Nowthen was with friends on Friday evening and had stepped outside before 6:30 p.m. His friends heard a noise and went outside to find him in the street with multiple injuries, but they did not see a vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials are asking anyone with information to come forward.
