Did you move in 2025? It could have been a move to a new home but in the same town, a move to a new town, or a big move to a whole other state! Lots of people were on the move in 2025, and there was a good chunk that did, in fact, move across state lines. So, for Minnesota, were people coming or going last year?

As a Minnesota native and someone who loves this state, I can't imagine people wanting to leave Minnesota! Ok, if you're leaving to go to a warmer climate, then I understand...

And according to a recent study, others seem to agree with me, because Minnesota was one of the states that saw the most people moving IN across the country.

Those top three states definitely make sense with the trend that seems to be happening of people deciding to move away from big cities and to smaller towns or the suburbs.
