Minnesota Twins Caravan Rolled Through Rochester
If last night's visit by a number of Minnesota Twins players and front office staff is anything to go by, hope does truly spring eternal when it comes to baseball! After a largely forgettable 2016 season that has led to an off-season of personnel changes throughout the organization, one thing was certain with last night's annual visit by the Twins. They believe they will be a better ball club in 2017.
The team made no excuses for last season's poor performance, admitting that they under-performed and need to improve. However, they also shared a true sense of excitement at the upside potential of a roster with so few salty veterans on it.
Twins broadcaster Kris Attebery led the interview and Q & A sessions, with pitcher Trevor May, outfielder Byron Buxton and new Chief Baseball Officer, Derek Falvey sharing their thoughts on the previous and upcoming seasons, as well as several other fun stories.
Byron Buxton shared stories about his family, admitting that he's probably only the third-fastest member of his family...
Meanwhile, Trevor May discussed his work to return from injury and what he did during his busy off-season...
Overall, it was another great Twins Caravan experience and we're so glad that they partner with us to make it happen every year. Go Twins!
