Eloy, AZ (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in Arizona are reporting that a Minnesota woman died while skydiving on Friday.

A news release issued by the Eloy, Arizona Police Department says officers and emergency personnel from the Eloy Fire Department responded to a business called Sky Dive Arizona around 4 PM on Friday after receiving reports of a parachutist experiencing complications during descent. The statement says the emergency responders located the person and initiated lifesaving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as 55-year-old Ann Wick of Minnesota.

Eloy Police say the Federal Aviation Administration is assisting with the investigation, which will involve a "thorough review of equipment, procedures, and circumstances surrounding the fatal incident."
