Minnesota Woman Killed When SUV Flipped and Crashed Into Truck
Camplin, MN (KROC-AM News) -The State Patrol responded to a fatal traffic crash today in a northern Twin Cities suburb.
A preliminary report on the incident indicates a 55-year-old woman from Ramsey died from injuries she suffered in the three-vehicle collision. It was reported just before 11:30 AM on Highway 169 in Champlin.
The State Patrol says the victim was in a small SUV that was traveling north in the left lane of the highway when another northbound vehicle swerved into the left lane and the two vehicles made contact. The collision caused the victim's SUV to flip and then crash into a truck but was stopped for a red arrow in the left turn lane of the highway.
The name of the woman killed in the crash has not been released. The driver of the second vehicle was identified as 54-year-old Michael Campbell of Coon Rapids. He and the truck driver were not injured.
