MN Teen Killed In Wreck On Way To Funeral

MONTICELLO, Minn. (AP) — A teen traveling to the funeral of a friend is killed in a crash near St. Cloud.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 19-year-old Megan Lehner was a passenger in a car that collided head on with a van on Highway 23 Saturday.

The patrol says the driver of the car, a 27-year-old Big Lake woman, and two people in the van were injured in the crash.

KMSP-TV reports the Lehner was from Monticello and was headed for the funeral of a friend who died after being struck by a train.
