Mobile Home Catches Fire In Rochester

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A structure fire left one mobile home at a complete loss in Northwest Rochester early Wednesday morning.

Rochester Fire Department Captain Caleb Fiene said Rochester Fire Department units arrived at the Zumbro Ridge Estates just off of 55th St. NE to a mobile home completely involved with the fire.

The Rochester Fire Department had reports that the home on fire had been vacant for sometime, and the fire had not spread to any of the adjacent buildings or property. Crews verified that nobody was in the building after knocking down the main body of the fire.

The mobile home is considered to be a total loss valued at $50,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
